THE OHIO STATEHOUSE ROTUNDA

Ohioans in Space

In 2024, William completed a monumental painting for the Ohio Statehouse Rotunda honoring Ohio’s astronauts, from John Glenn through the shuttle era. The mural celebrates the people, missions, and discoveries that connect Ohio to the history of human spaceflight.

Built at mural scale, the work began with a full-size charcoal drawing, carefully transferred to canvas before the painting itself. The finished work now hangs in the Statehouse Rotunda in Columbus.
